Gibson L3 year in 1928

Not only one of the most beautiful guitars ever made, it’s also extremely rare. For some unknown reason, in 1928 they decided to make the L3 with an oval sound hole instead of round. They made it for one year and there’s probably only a handful still around. It plays well and has a delta blues sound. This guitar has created two small sound holes where the back is slightly coming away from the side. I’ve had this guitar for many years and see no change. It would probably never sound as good if you tried to have it fixed. It doesn’t need fixing!  It’s perfect just the way it is.
